About
As the founder and creative director of the project, I led the visual identity of Markham’s Got Talent, designing and animating all core event graphics, including the iconic stage backdrop used during live performances for a $1,000 grand prize competition. Every visual element was built to feel cinematic, premium, and broadcast-ready.

TV/Show vs Cinema
To make it feel like a real TV production, we focused heavily on multi-camera coverage, cinematic dolly shots, professional lighting, and a fast-paced, broadcast-style edit. This meant extensive pre-production planning — setting up camera angles in advance, coordinating microphones, designing lighting layouts, and treating the shoot like a full production rather than a simple “click and shoot.”

Visual Graphics Graphics and Promotion
I also took on a major role in creatively designing and animating all the event visuals, including the iconic Markham’s Got Talent background used for live performers. I ensured that sponsor titles were strategically placed—large enough for maximum visibility while not distracting from the show itself. I additionally edited all MGT transitions using Blender and After Effects to enhance a broadcast, TV-style feel. The transitions featured the MGT logo and signature colors (red, black, and gold), combined with a metallic, grunge texture to create a bold and high-impact visual identity.
